Snuffleupagus Drop
Summer 2002

Here's a short movie showing me crashing on the Snuffleupagus Drop.

This was a fun drop. Getting on the log was the crux move. It began in a series of sweeping turns that banked on either side of a gully. After the last left hand turn the rider got onto the log. The log was slightly uphill and began skinny, about six or seven inches wide, with a cluster of knots that usually threw the rider off balance right away. If you managed the get on the log, things got easier as the width increased to a couple of feet. While some had been known to ride of the end, the preferred exit move was turn the bike and hop off to the right.

Rider: Kristofer Yahner
